0930 – 2 February

As you will be aware we experienced freezing temperatures overnight; it is starting to thaw. Staff will assess the safety of each visit and some may be delayed but all essential visits will take place.

If you are concerned please contact our SPA 0300 125 6565 until 6pm and from 8am to 6pm our switchboard on 0300 124 5300

13:50 update

Our wonderful staff are finding different ways of ensuring people get what they need today; here are Emma, an Occupational Therapist, and Sam, Physiotherapist, taking equipment to an individual’s home.
Essential visits have all been carried out – if you have a concern about your needs please call 0300 125 6565.
Our Minor Injuries Unit in Yate is busy with snow-related injuries – please do take care and stay safe

10:00 update

Ilminster Avenue and Yate Children’s Clinics have been cancelled and everyone affected has been contacted individually.

Essential home visits are being undertaken on foot.

0800 Update

If you are due a home visit today and we are unable to get to you, we will be contacting you to let you know. Given the conditions, please be aware it may take longer than normal for staff to reach you. If you are concerned please contact our Single Point of Access on 0300 125 6565.

0615 Update

As you will be aware there has been heavy snowfall overnight causing some disruption; we are currently assessing the situation and will update this page and our Social Media (@SironaCIC) with any service changes.
