Anyone can benefit from Telecare. It is used by lots of people for many different reasons; from those who need a simple way of calling for help, to those who need assistive technology as an essential way of detecting falls or helping with memory loss.
How does this service work / what's involved in this service?
Telecare offers reassurance to family, friends and carers, whether they live locally or further away from their loved ones. It also helps with the early discharge of patients from hospital, when people are at their most vulnerable.
We offer a variety of products to help you in your home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from as little as 52p a day. We recognise that everyone’s needs are individual and would recommend that you contact our team to find out which products best suit your requirements.
The Telecare Alarm and Pendant
The Telecare Alarm and Pendant will dial our 24 hour professional Call Centre at the press of the pendant if you need help day or night. A fully trained operator will speak to you to find out what kind of help you need and act appropriately.
Unlike most other Telecare Alarm providers we always visit and install the alarm ourselves, and will gladly offer a free demonstration in your own home. Installation is simple; all we need is a telephone socket and an unused electric socket at a reasonable distance from each other. We aim to fit any Telecare Alarm within 5 working days.
Standalone Telecare is highly valuable for those with physical and/or mental disabilities such as memory loss, dementia sufferers, people who are at risk of falling or epileptics. Standalone equipment includes automatic pill dispensers, motion detectors, home alerts, memory aides, epilepsy sensors and tracking devices.
