Learning Disabilities Service

We offer support through specialist help from the Community Learning Disability Teams to enable adults with a Learning Disability who live in Bath & North East Somerset to achieve more in their lives. Our aim is to ensure they receive the support they need so that they feel safe, listened to and supported to live the lives they want to live.

Who is this service for?

Any adult over 18 years of age who lives in the Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) area or is registered with a B&NES GP.

How does this service work / what's involved in this service?

Our service offers:

  • A day service provision for adults with learning disabilities provided from Carrswood (Bath) and Connections (North East Somerset)
  • Supported Living Service who come to service users in their own homes
  • Social Work and Care Management
  • Health care
  • Shared Lives Service for respite

How do I access this service?

You can be referred by your:

  • GP
  • Therapist
  • District nurse

In what areas is this service available?
