Independent Living Support

We offer a range of carefully chosen care and support services for adults with a Learning Disability. The service promotes independence, builds on decision making capabilities and develops an awareness of health, safety and security issues.

Who is this service for?

Any adult over 18 years of age who lives in the Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) area or is registered with a B&NES GP.

How does this service work / what's involved in this service?

We offer a wide range of personally tailored care programmes, ranging from intensive support to hourly pop in visits or welfare phone calls as required. We work alongside adults with a Learning Disability in their own homes focusing on a flexible approach to providing a holistic package of support. This includes personal care, assisting adults with a Learning Disability to access day services and close liaison with other agencies in health, education, housing and employment matters.

You can be referred to this service by your social worker.
