The Emergency Care Practitioner Service is available for patients living in the South Gloucestershire area.
Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs) are registered practitioners who have had extended training to use a medical model to undertake urgent care home visits at the request of GPs as part of the adult community services multidisciplinary team. They undertake physical assessments and look to either set up a treatment plan, with or without a support package, give self-care advice or if necessary admit to secondary care for acute care.
You can be referred by your GP or other health care professional, such as a District Nurse within the South Gloucestershire area.
Do you know one of Emergency Care Practitioners who has gone above and beyond your expectations and deserves to be recognised for delivering an exceptional service. Each month we choose an individual or team to be our Sirona ‘Star’.
Tell us about them today, we would love to hear from you. You can email us using the form below or drop us a line at the following address: Communications Office (2nd Floor), Kingswood Civic Centre, High Street, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 9TR.

Please do not use our ASK SIRONA email address to submit any requests for medical or urgent assistance. Emails are routinely monitored Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm and it is not an emergency contact service. If you have an emergency, or are at risk of harm or know someone who is, you should contact your GP/their GP or dial 999.
