Who is this service for?

The Emergency Care Practitioner Service is available for people living in the South Gloucestershire area.

What we do

Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs) are registered practitioners who have had extended training to use a medical model to undertake urgent care home visits at the request of GPs as part of the adult community services multidisciplinary team. They undertake physical assessments and look to either set up a treatment plan, with or without a support package, give self-care advice or if necessary admit to secondary care for acute care.

How do I access this service?
