What we do

Our Dermatology Service diagnoses skin conditions and offers support, education and treatment planning for people with chronic skin conditions. The team consists of GPs with Extended Roles (GPwER) in Dermatology and Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS).

You might see one of our GPs for help with diagnosing a skin condition, or for skin surgery to help diagnose what’s wrong.

Our Clinical Nurse Specialists run clinics throughout Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire for people with a diagnosed skin condition. The nurses provide a holistic approach to care, and offer advice and support to help you manage both the physical and psychological symptoms of your skin condition. The nurse will also agree a treatment plan for your skin condition with you.

The team offers treatment for:

  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Scabies
  • Actinic keratosis
  • Dry skin/itch
