From 1 April 2017, Virgin Care will be providing the majority of community health and care services currently delivered by Sirona care & health in Bath and North East Somerset. It has been Sirona’s privilege to deliver these services over the past five years.
What does this mean for you?
We’re working closely with Virgin Care to transfer the services without any interruption to you. In most cases, you won’t notice any changes as the people who provide your care and support will stay the same.
Your care and appointments will continue as planned from 1 April 2017 and we will securely transfer your current Sirona records to Virgin Care to support this.
Do you need to do anything?
If you do not want your information to be transferred to Virgin Care then please contact us using the details below by 17 February 2017 stating your full name and date of birth. Please be aware that your care may be interrupted for a period after 1 April 2017 if you choose to do this.
If we do not hear from you by this date we will assume you are in agreement for your records to transfer to Virgin Care.
If you receive social care and support funded by Bath and North East Somerset Council then these records will remain the responsibility of the Council.
If your treatment will be complete when our service finishes on 31 March 2017 then we will archive your records securely.
