Sirona Awards for Excellence 2016 – the shortlist!

October 1 is Sirona’s fifth birthday and this week sees the annual Awards for Excellence to mark the occasion.
This year the awards are sponsored by Docmail and Sicon and take place at the Assembly Rooms in Bath on October 4.

The shortlist drawn from more than 250 nominations for the various categories has been announced and can be found below.

Learner of the Year: Jordon Newberry, Bath; Rachel Taylor, Bath and Daniel Whitchurch, Kingswood,.

Rising Star: Rebecca Brockway, Patchway; Kate Ellison, Severnvale; Courtney Davis, Kingswood; Katie Rademaker, Active Ageing Service and Nicola Dunford, Sirona HQ,

“I Think They Deserve It” award: physiotherapist Catherine Atkinson in Bath; Community Neuro & Stroke Team; the District Nursing Team at St Mary’s Surgery in Timsbury; Lorraine Perdicchia, Bath; Maria Parsons, Bath; Maxine Read, the Mental Health Reablement Team.

Chief Executive’s Award for Taking it Personally: Social Worker Molly Caradine in Keynsham; Sirona’s Community Equipment Service in Norton Radstock; Mark Greenwood from the Bath & North East Somerset’s Reablement Team, Paediatric Audiology Service, Bath, Hazel Roddan, Yate; Barbara Waldron, Bath and Janette Welsh, Bath

Outstanding Contribution to the Community: Simon Allen and Julie Harrington for their work with Somer Valley FM in Radstock, Patricia Lysaght setting up team dances in Bath, Amy Perrin – The Marmalade Trust.
