It was a right Royal knees up at the Sirona care & health run Community Resource and Extra Care Centres as residents, staff and their families celebrated the Queen’s official 90th birthday.
And while Her Majesty was unable to attend in person, a cut-out of the Queen was in attendance and directed guests to the party.
Vintage crockery, party songs and dancing were the order of the day at Combe Lea Community Resource Centre in Radstock, Cleeve Court in Twerton, Bath, and Hawthorn Court in Keynsham.
Jenny Theed, Sirona’s Director of Operations and Nursing, said: “Staff and families brought sandwiches and home-made cakes for a sumptious afternoon tea. There was bunting, vintage crockery and by the end of each party, plenty of people up on their feet dancing. It was a fabulous community event and it was great to see so many enjoying celebrating the Queen’s Official Birthday.”
