The Bank

Our bank team of workers cover a wide range of jobs that includes nurses, specialist health professionals, administrators, care workers and kitchen/domestic assistants. They all provide a vital role which is key to our success.

Joining our Bank is much the same as applying for a permanent or fixed term post; in that you will need the same skills and experience, and work to the same high quality standards.

You’ll also need to go through the same selection process and pass the relevant background checks. Of course, along with the flexibility of working when and where you choose, we will also ensure you are appropriately trained and once on board, you will have access to our on-line booking system to view available shifts and plan a work pattern that suits you.

Bank Emergency Nurse Practitioners -BANKENP

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic Bank Emergency Nurse Practitioners to join our established minor injuries team at Yate. The Minor Injury unit is a busy, nurse led unit treating a variety of injury only clinical conditions, supporting the local Emergency Departments by avoiding attendances where possible. We give appropriate and responsive care to patients in a clean and pleasant environment.

The MIU is a small but exciting place to work. We have a skilled team of nurses, caring for patients from new born to the very elderly, with a mixture of registered adult and children’s nurses.

The Minor Injury unit is open every weekday from 08:30 until 19:30 and weekends/ bank holidays from 10:00 until 13:30.

We are looking for an experienced ENP, with significant relevant experience, to join our team. A keen desire to help educate junior and less experienced staff will be essential.

Key skills required are:
•Registered Adult Nurse NMC level 1
•Must hold a degree level qualification
•Must have a degree level, Nurse Practitioner qualification.
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Perform clinical skills to a high level; suturing, Foreign Body removal, manipulation of dislocated joints, plaster of Paris application, burn care
•Be able to diagnose patients who present with undifferentiated acute injuries and plan and implement any further care the patients may need
•Have a good working Knowledge of Safeguarding issues for Children and adults
•Ensure that accurate, contemporaneous documentation is achieved
•Be accountable for care using research based knowledge to inform practice
•Develop positive relationships with service users, be professional and polite at all times
•Be able to lead the team in Emergency situations
•Non-medical prescribing qualification, registered with NMC, or working towards

Charlton House is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) based in Keynsham, Bristol. Charlton House has become a home for people who need both nursing care and those who do not need a nurse but do need a higher level of staffing. This is a friendly homely care establishment with a caring team.

Support Workers (Casual) – CLEEVEBANKNOV

Exciting things are happening at Cleeve Court!

Cleeve Court is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) based in Twerton, Bath. It has 2 floors which are registered to provide care and support for 45 people needing residential and dementia care. There is also a range of meeting rooms and offices for other organisations on the ground floor.

We have a number of casual shifts available which includes the early shifts (starting at 8am - 2pm or 3pm) and late shifts (2pm or 3pm ending at 9pm or 10pm). We also have shifts available on weekends which enhancements are paid.

Cleeve Court is classified as a Dementia Care Matters Butterfly Service® home which has achieved Level 2 on the Qualitative Observational audit. This audit was conducted in June 2017 and described the Cleeve Court ‘Level 2 (out of a possible 9) – A highly skilled, loving care with a high degree of person-centred dementia care and potential to develop into a Level 1 home’.

The CQC inspection of September 2016 rated Cleeve Court as ‘Good’. To help Cleeve Court reach its next goal of becoming a ‘Level 1 home’ and achieve an ‘Excellent’ CQC rating, we are looking to recruit a team of motivated casual (bank) Support Workers!

The successful applicants will support the residents with some or all aspects of daily living, including personal care, activities and maintaining contact with family and friends when required. You will help with planning and organising activities for residents, helping residents to maintain personal hygiene and assist residents and their families in the provision of care during illness and at end of life.
