Who is this service for?

We are really sorry but our Single Point of Access (SPA) is experiencing unprecedented levels of demand. You may have to wait longer than normal but please bear with us and we will answer your call as soon as we’re able.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide confirmation of date and times of visits; you will be contacted if there are any changes; please remember our teams work until 8pm each day and may visit up until that time.

If you need non-urgent assistance please also consider your local pharmacy or NHS 111. If you have a medical emergency, call 999

The Single Point of Access (SPA) is the number to call for those receiving healthcare services in their homes from community teams including District Nurses, Therapists and Support Workers.

It is also the number clinicians can use to refer people into community health services no matter where they live in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, including GP urgent referrals that require a response within 2 hours.
