Sirona Care & Health Community Interest Company (CIC) was created in October 2011 as an independent non-profit distributing organisation providing publicly-funded health and social care services.  It was formed by the local Primary Care Trust and Council to ensure the delivery of high quality health and social care services that are easy for people to use and are delivered in a way that makes sense to local people.

Sirona is responsible for the delivery of the community healthcare and adult social care services previously provided by Bath and North East Somerset PCT and Council respectively.

The Company has been set up to benefit local communities.  There are no shareholders and we do not pay out dividends to Members;  wherever possible surplus money will be reinvested into the development of health and social care services and staff. We will listen to our staff who deliver, and the people who use, the services so we can respond to the needs of our community as we continue to grow.

We aim to provide care and support to people who use our services in a way that our staff would wish to receive the care themselves; with skill, compassion and respect.  The care we provide is designed around the needs of the individual and we support people to achieve their own goals. We also promote good health and well being.
